We are delighted to invite you to a Review and Planning Workshop for Natural Kendal, taking place from 7–9pm on Thursday 29th January at the Eddington Centre in Kendal.
This will be a fantastic opportunity for partner organisations and individuals to help review the last year of our Nature Recovery work and input into the main programme areas for the coming year:
- Local Nature Recovery Strategy for Cumbria and How Kendal can Support it.
- Natural Kendal Education Programme
- Community Engagement – Farmers Market, Nature Recovery Festival and Social Media
- Mapping Kendal’s Open Spaces for People and Nature (MOSPAN) This project would be a key step towards an emerging green infrastructure strategy for Kendal and will lead to a series of community led projects for nature recovery.
2025 has been a big year for officially launching Natural Kendal and building partnerships with organisations doing practical work for nature recovery. The focus has been very much on community engagement, this coming year will also start to map out the opportunities and challenges the town faces as we seek to address nature recovery in an urban setting.
We very much hope you will be able to take part in our Review and Planning Workshop in January. Please put the date in your diary, 7pm Thursday 29th January, the Eddington
